Jennifer Sutton

Jennifer Sutton is a communications professional with over 15 years experience, both internal facing and external, with experience of professional services, FMCG and B2B sectors.

Responsible for the creation and management of media relation resources in her last three senior positions, Jennifer has an excellent knowledge of how the media work and what makes a good story. Having worked as both a copywriter and a freelance journalist, she also has commercial and creative writing ability including online copy, feature material, press releases, brochures and advertisements.

Jennifer’s most current position was as Communications Manager at international construction consultancy Davis Langdon where she created and developed an external and internal communications strategy for the 3,000 strong firm, including the development of intranet and website copy, advertising and latterly coordinating the sponsorship programme.

Prior to this Jennifer worked for Project Management firm Cyril Sweett as Head of Press and PR, which involved managing the media relations programme, whilst also heavily involved in events, marketing and publications.

A member of the Institute of Public Relations, Jennifer – until recently – was an elected Borough Councillor working on planning, licensing and environmental issues.
